White chocolate fudge cake

For Leah’s birthday I wanted to make a white chocolate buttercream as I wanted to see how a none-rolled icing cake would look with my new smoothing tool (a plastic square that you can sweep the icing on with).

It was very milky and sweet, I think I will use it for cupcake buttercream next week for the red nose day bake sale I am arranging.

The fudge sponge was with vegetable oil so was very fudgy, instead of using eggs and butter. Great for vegan friends 🙂 (but not with this icing obviously)

The top was shaved white chocolate and dried flowers.
