Hydranga Cake

This cake was for Ros’ 60th Birthday. I marbled the icing with white, yellow and peach which gives a nice warmth to the base colour which allows for more of a layered effect when I paint the flowers on top.

I am going to try more varied brushes next for extra texture and keep working on building the depth to the cakes, as I would for a painting.
